Wine is one of the noblest liquors in the history of humanity. However, wine is more than an ordinary alcoholic drink, as it has accompanied humans since the dawn of time. It was a source of joy and inspiration, and as the favorite drink of philosophers, it attended their discussions. It is no accident that we know the saying “IN VINO VERITAS” from the time of the Romans.

My name is Girolamo Di Gregorio, but everyone calls me Jerry. I come from Apulia, from the beautiful seaside town of Bisceglie, where my family lives to this day.

Mi chiamo Girolamo Di Gregorio, ma tutti mi chiamano Jerry. Sono pugliese, originario di Bisceglie dove ancora oggi risiede la mia famiglia.

I have been working in the catering and wine industry since 1996.

Over the years of working in the HoReCa sector in Italy and other European countries, I have consistently developed my passion for wines. The experience I gained gave me a thorough knowledge of the market realities.

In 2011, I moved to Warsaw, where I live and work to this day. Since then, I have constantly developed my activity in the Polish wine industry, helping Italian wine producers establish valuable business relationships with Polish importers. In addition, I work with the Polish Sommeliers Association, and in 2017 I confirmed my qualifications by receiving the international certificate: Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). My mission is to share the Italian wine tradition with Poles.

Currently, the activities carried out by my agency EXPORT PUGLIA are:

Brand Ambassador activities (mainly Italian wineries).
Promotion of wine on Polish territory.
Consultation services for wine import to Poland.
Sommelier Services: organization of wine tastings and Master Class.
Organization and development of cultural projects related to wine.
Retail wine promotion (Stationary and online store)
I am a member of the Polish Sommelier Association.
